Result of stamp vendors' paper exam announced

Ludhiana, November 11, 2021: The results of the stamp vendors' exams held for 160 vacant posts on October 31, has been announced and it can be checked on the website of www.pau.edu
Disclosing further details, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the administration had invited applications for the 160 vacant posts of stamp vendors (149 general and eight riot and three terrorism victims) on September 18 through advertisements and on Ludhiana.nic.in. 
He said that against 160 vaccines, 1242 applications were received and 973 candidates appeared for the written exam on October 31. He said that the merit list of 473 passed out candidates who are being called for interview has been uploaded on the website www.pau.edu . 
He added that date, place and timing of interview would also be sent to the candidates through SMS on their mobiles. Further, the candidates must bring their two passport sized photographs, 10th class certificate, original and photo copies of residential address at the place of interview. 
He said that Covid protocols would be strictly followed during interview procedure. 
Final result would be announced after calculating the numbers got in written exam, interview and education qualification.
