Rohtak, December 29, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta categorically said that resolution of public grievances in the Samadhan Shivir shall be the topmost priority of all departments. He emphasized that every citizen who comes to the Samadhan Shivir with a grievance must go back with a clear resolution or a definite course of action.
Chairing the Samadhan Shivir held at the auditorium of the local Mini Secretariat, the Deputy Commissioner directed officers to approach grievance redressal with a problem-solving mindset rather than procedural formality. He said the credibility of the Samadhan Shivir lies in ensuring that complainants receive timely, meaningful, and satisfactory solutions at a single platform.
DC Sachin Gupta noted that while some complaints may relate to development demands or technical constraints, even such cases must be clearly examined, documented, and communicated transparently to the complainant. He directed that details of such cases be consolidated and sent to the headquarters within the stipulated time so that further action can be initiated without delay.
He further instructed that Action Taken Reports (ATRs) must be submitted immediately after disposal, leaving no scope for pendency. Stressing accountability, he said officers must ensure that no grievance remains unresolved due to lack of coordination or follow-up.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the core objective of Samadhan Shivirs is citizen satisfaction. Officers must treat every grievance with seriousness and sensitivity, ensuring that the public leaves the camp with confidence in the administration.
He informed that, as per government directions, Samadhan Shivirs are being organized every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the district and sub-divisional headquarters to provide immediate redressal of citizens’ issues under one roof. Senior officers from various departments were present during the camp.
