Residents Highlight Local Issues During Meeting
Contrary to Government Claims, People Deprived of Basic Facilities: Pawan Dewan
Ludhiana, April 8, 2026: Former President of the District Congress Committee (Urban), Ludhiana, and former Chairman of the Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, Pawan Dewan, listened to the problems of residents during a meeting held at the residence of Ram Kumar in Amrit Colony, West Assembly constituency.
Sharing details about the meeting, Pawan Dewan stated that contrary to the claims made by the government, people are facing serious difficulties due to the lack of basic amenities. Residents reported that the condition of roads in the area is extremely poor. Additionally, frequent criminal incidents expose the reality of the government’s claims regarding law and order. Dewan said that development should be visible on the ground, but the government is focusing only on appearances. He also added that people are eagerly waiting for elections to remove the Aam Aadmi Party from power.
On this occasion, among others present were Rohit Pahwa, Krishan Lal, Manjeet Kumar, Hanuman Bahri, Ved Prakash, Sukhchain Brar, Dr. Ranjit Saxena, Mahipal Lohat, Chandan Verma, and Pradeep Yadav.
