Republic Day celebrations in Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar: 72nd Republic Day was celebrated by the Army and Air NCC Wings of Lyallpur Khalsa College in college campus. The event was presided over by the College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra who in his address highlighted the importance of the day in Indian history. He said that the freedom that we were enjoying was because of the sacrifices made by the martyrs and freedom fighters and it was the duty of every citizen to make efforts to work for the progress of the country. He urged students to recognise not just their rights but also their duties.  In this event, a march past was organised by the cadets under Senior Cadets Manpreet Singh and Nitin Walia. 

The occasion was witnessed by the presence of the in-charges of college NCC air and army wings Prof. Manpreet Singh and Dr. Karanbir Singh.
