A report on visit of Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman to Ludhiana

Bollywood Actor and theatre artiste Shekhar Suman was in Ludhiana recently. He visited Ludhiana for playing the role of Sahir Ludhianvi in the play, “Ek Mulaqaat”. The play was organised by Ludhiana Sanskritik Samagam (LSS). It was staged at Guru Nanak Bhawan, Ludhiana. The stage show entertained a lot the audience. The audience was completely mesmerized with the live acting skills of Shekhar Suman. Those among the audience had so far seen Suman in the movies and television shows. Shekhar Suman has also attained popularity for conducting TV shows carrying political satire over the period. Really, he has a different style of acting and satire. He told that as Sahir belonged to Ludhiana, he was ecstatic to come and perform the play at Ludhiana for Ludhianvis. Interestingly, this was the 75th show of the play. The artiste told that he also visited SCD Government College, Ludhiana where Sahir once studied and visited the auditorium that was named after Sahir. Shekhar Suman interacted with the media persons.
