Religious Programme and Free Eye Check-up Camp Held on Bhai Lalo Ji’s 574th Birth Anniversary
On the occasion of the 574th birth anniversary of Bhai Lalo Ji, a religious programme was organised under the leadership of Gurnam Singh Kaler, President of Bhai Lalo Ji Social Service Society, at Gurdwara Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, H Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, September 23, 2026: On the occasion of the 574th birth anniversary of Bhai Lalo Ji, a religious programme was organised under the leadership of Gurnam Singh Kaler, President of Bhai Lalo Ji Social Service Society, at Gurdwara Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, H Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana.
The programme began with the Bhog of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji, followed by Shabad Kirtan, connecting the devotees with the teachings of Gurbani.
On the occasion, Bhai Lalo Ji Social Service Society also organised a free eye check-up camp dedicated to public welfare. During the camp, a team of doctors, including Dr. Navneet Kumar from Deepak Heart Centre & Institute, Ludhiana, conducted eye examinations and provided medical consultations. Free tests for blood sugar and blood pressure were also conducted. A large number of people attended the camp and availed themselves of the health-check-up facilities.
Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee former General Secretary and former Chairman of the Punjab Large Industrial Development Board Pawan Dewan, along with former Chairman K.K. Bawa, attended the camp and remembered the life and teachings of Bhai Lalo Ji, particularly his message of earning through honest work and following the path of truth.
Pawan Dewan and K.K. Bawa said that Bhai Lalo Ji gave humanity the message of honesty, hard work and truth. They said his teachings continue to inspire society even today and encourage people to earn their livelihood.
They further said that organising public-welfare initiatives such as health check-up camps alongside religious programmes is a meaningful way of carrying forward Bhai Lalo Ji’s teachings of service, truth and dedication to humanity.
A large number of devotees attended the programme. Those present included Kulbir Neeta, Rohit Pahwa, Manjit Kaur Saroye, Dr. Paramjit Singh Saroye, Gagandeep Kaur, Mamta Rani, Jasmine Jassi, Sukhwinder Kaur, Sarabjot Kaur Brar, Kanta Devi, Balwinder Kaur, Nikki Ryatt, Inderjit Kaur Oberoi, Varinder Bhalla, Manjinder Singh Kaler, Ravinder Singh Kaler, Manpreet Kaur Kaler and Taran Kaler.
