Relay race organized in Atam Nagar and Ludhiana South constituencies to encourage people for voting 

Ludhiana, November 14, 2021: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner-cum- District Election Officer Varinder Kumar Sharma, a relay race was organized in Atam Nagar and Ludhiana South constituencies on Sunday to motivate the people for vote in the maximum number in upcoming 2022-Punjab Assembly elections. 
In Atam Nagar, the race started from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Model Town to Sri Guru Singh Sabha School Model Town to Central Model High School and ended back at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Model Town. As many as 70 students participated in the race and they held placards of “Make Vote and Cast Vote” to give a message of maximum participation of voters in the festival of democracy in the upcoming Assembly elections. The relay race was held under the supervision of MC Joint Commissioner Poonampreet Kaur and was led by Assistant SVEEP Nodal Officer Balwant Singh, Yogesh Chander along with Principal Harwinder Kaur, BLO Aseem Prabhkar, Rajiv Sharma, Sarbjeet Singh, Kamalpreet Kaur, Deepak Kumar and others. 
In Ludhiana South constituency, a similar relay race was held under the supervision of ARO Mahesh Gupta. More than 300 students took part in the relay race that started from Vikas Public School to Sunshine Public School to GK Public High School and back to Vikas Public School.
