100 Percent NOCs issued to plot holders clearing total payment
Chandigarh, August 1, 2014: The Punjab Chief Secretary Sarvesh Kaushal today held a high level meeting to review the progress of providing NOCs to plot holders of post 1995 unauthorised colonies, who had applied for regularisation as per the policy guidelines issued by the Punjab Government. This policy was only applicable to all post 1995 unauthorised colonies.
According to an official spokesman, it was informed in the meeting that the total 249447 plot holders had applied for regularisation out of which 141496 plot holders belonged to municipal areas and had applied to local government department. 107951 Plot holders having plots outside municipal limit had applied to development agencies including GMADA, PDA, BDA, GLADA, JDA and ADA. The meeting was informed that all the 185504 plot holders, who had deposited 100 percent regularisation money and their regularisatioin papers were in order, have already been issued NOCs by the respective agencies.
All Plot holders having NOCs can do their sale and purchase of plots/properties on the basis of NOCs and get their sale deed register in the office of concerned sub registrar. The NOCs would also allow plot/property holders to get their water/sewerage and electricity connections. The Chief Secretary issued instructions that as per regularization policy local government department and concerned development authority should move fast to make provisions for underground sewerage, water supply and electricity connections in all those illegal colonies where 70 percent plot holders have applied for regularisation.
The Spokesman said that remaining plot holders have been advised to clear 100 percent payment required for regularization besides clearing discrepancies in their papers, so that NOCs could be issued to them at the earliest. He said that all such plot holders have been issued notices in this regard.
