Recruitment rally for Territorial Army from 30 Dec 2013

Jalandhar, December 24, 2013: 112 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army DOGRA will be organizing a recruitment rally for the category of General Duty Soldier, Clerk (SD) and Tradesmen (Chef Community, Washerman and House Keeper) at Jalandhar Cantt on 30 Dec 2013 at 0900 hours onwards. Candidates belonging to the state of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh, can take part in this recruitment rally.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 42 years, 50 kgs weight, 160 cms height and the chest should be 77-82 cms.
Educational qualification required for Soldier General Duty should be 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. Candidates with higher qualification need not have 45% marks in matric. The candidates appearing for clerk (SD) should be 10+2 / Intermediate exam passed from any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science with English) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and at least 40% marks in each subject & should have proficient in typing and operating computer. The candidates appearing for Chef Community and Washerman should be 10th simple passed and proficient in trade work. Those appearing for House Keeper should be 8th simple passed and proficient in trade work.
Preference will be given to Good Shooters/Computer literate/Vehicle Mechanic and sportsmen who have represented at National/State/District level and drivers of heavy vehicles with valid license for recruitment as soldiers (General Duty).
