Recruitment rally for Territorial Army from 10 Feb 2014

Jalandhar, February 5, 2014: 150 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army Punjab will be organising a recruitment rally for the category of General Duty Soldier, Tradesmen (House Keeper, Chef community, Chef Mess & Artisan wood work) at 150 Infantry Battalion (TA) Punjab Training Area, Near Sadar Bazaar, Delhi Cantt on 10 & 11 Feb 2014 from 0600 hours onwards. The candidates belonging to the state of Haryana will be screened on 10 Feb 2014 and the candidates belonging to the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh will be screened on 11 Feb 2014.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 42 years, 50 kgs weight, 160 cms height and the chest should be 77-82 cms.
Educational qualification required for Soldier General Duty should be 10th pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject for the candidates belonging to the state of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh (Except Kinnaur, Lahoul & Spiti districts) and district Jammu, Samba and Kathua of J & K state. Education for candidates belonging to the districts of Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti of Himachal Pradesh, all other districts of J&K state except Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Kargil and Ladakh region should be simple 10th pass. Education for the candidate for Kargil and Ladakh region of J & K should be simple 8th pass. The candidates appearing for Artisan (Wood work) should be 10th simple pass and ITI (Carpenter). Whereas the candidates appearing for Chef Community should be 10th simple pass.
