Ludhiana, October 16, 2025: The Territorial Army Group Headquarters Western Command has announced a recruitment rally for the Territorial Army, set to take place in Ludhiana from November 17 to November 30, 2025. 

This opportunity is open to domiciliates of Punjab (excluding Pathankot and SAS Nagar), Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, Leh, Chandigarh, and NCT of Delhi. The recruitment process emphasizes fair and transparent selection based on merit, with no stage payments involved.

The rally will offer positions including Soldier (General Duty)-716, Clerk-02, Chef Community-06, ER-02, Artisan Metallurgy-01, House Keeper-01, Tailor-02, and Mess Keeper-01. 

The schedule begins on November 17, 2025, with tradesmen including Clerk and All Infantry Battalions Zone-1 from Punjab, Haryana, and UT of Leh at 103 Inf Bn (TA) Sikh LI in Ludhiana. Subsequent dates include November 18 for UT of J&K and NCT of Delhi, November 19 for Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, November 21 for Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Barnala, November 22 for Gurdaspur, Ropar, and Kapurthala, November 23 for Mansa, Ferozepur, and Malerkotla, November 25 for Bathinda, Hoshiarpur, and SBS Nagar, November 26 for Sangrur, Moga, and Faridkot, November 28 for Taran Tarn, Patiala, and Jalandhar, November 29 for Fazilka and Ludhiana, and November 30 for Muktsar. Candidates are required to report at 02:00 AM, with no entry permitted after 05:00 AM.

Eligibility criteria include an age range of 18 to 42 years as of the recruitment date, with physical standards of a minimum height of 160 cm, weight of 50 kg, and chest measurement of 77 cm with a 5 cm expansion. 

Educational qualifications are a 10th pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject or equivalent grading for Soldier (General Duty), a 12th pass with 60% aggregate, 50% in each subject, and 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping for Soldier (Clerk), and a 10th pass (8th pass for House Keeper and Mess Keeper) for Soldier (Tradesmen). Required documents include a Domicile Certificate, Character Certificate, Caste Certificate, 20 colored passport-size photos, original marks sheets, PAN and Aadhar card copies, and unmarried or married certificates as applicable.

The mobile phones, watches, and electronic devices are prohibited in the testing area, and successful candidates in physical and medical tests will advance to a written exam.
