Recruitment rally at Punjab Regimental Centre

Jalandhar: The Punjab Regimental Centre will be organizing a recruitment rally under Unit Headquarters Quota for the year 2021-22 for the sons/wards of war widows/ex-servicemen/serving persons and brother of serving/retired personnel at The Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) with effect from 23 Aug 2021 onwards.
 
The sportsmen category screening (Sikh & Dogra) will be carried out from 23 Aug 2021 onwards.  Recruitment for Soldier Clerk and Soldier Tradesmen will be from 24 Aug 2021 onwards and Soldier GD (Sikh & Dogra) will be from 26 Aug 2021 onwards.  No recruitment will be carried out in open category except for outstanding sportsmen and musician. All Sikh candidates except Mazbi, Ramdasia, SC and ST from any states/UT of India (only for relationship candidates) and Dogra candidates hailing from the J&K, HP and Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Nawan Shahar, Roopnagar, and Pathankot distt of Punjab whether residing in the said states or outside within India can appear for Soldier General Duty category.
 
For Soldier General Duty, candidate should have passed class X with min 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate.   For Soldier Clerk/SKT  Class 12th pass candidate with min 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks in aggregate will be considered. For Soldier Tradesmen (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) candidates should have passed simple class 8th.  For All Soldier Tradesmen (Except Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) candidates should have passed simple class 10th.
 
Candidate should be between 17 ½ - 21 years of age for Soldier General Duty category and 17 ½ to 23 years for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper and Soldier Tradesmen category. 
 
Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and latest 20 colour passport size unattested photographs (White background) not more than three months old.
