Recruitment rally at Punjab Regimental Centre

Jalandhar: The Punjab Regimental Centre will be organizing a recruitment rally under Unit Headquarters Quota for the second half Recruitment Rally for the year  2020-21 for sons/wards of War Widows/Ex-Servicemen/Serving Persons and Brother of Serving/ Retired Personnel at The Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) on 06 Oct 2020 onwards for Sportsmen screening, on 07 Oct 2020 for Soldier Clerk and Soldier Tradesmen Categories and on 09 Oct 2020 for Soldier GD Categories.  No recruitment will be carried out in open category except for outstanding Sportsmen & Musician.  All Sikh candidates except Mazbi, Ramdasia, SC and ST from any state/UT of India (only for relationship candidates) can appear for Soldier General Duty category.
 
For Soldier General Duty, candidate should have passed class X with min 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate.  For Soldier Clerk Class 12th pass candidate with min 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks in aggregate will be considered. For All Soldier Tradesmen (Except Scyce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) candidate should have passed simple class 10th.  For Soldier Tradesmen (Scyce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) candidate should have passed simple class 8th. 
 
Candidate should be between 17 ½ - 21 years of age for Soldier General Duty category and 17 ½ to 23 years for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper and Soldier Tradesmen category. 
 
Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and latest 20 copies of unattested Passport size coloured photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old.  Computer printouts/photo shopped photographs will NOT be accepted.
