Ambala, July 21, 2019: Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala participated in railway exhibition-cum-rail mela at Ambala
The event is being organized by the Ambala division of the Northern Railway.
The 3-day mega event on “64th National Award Function and Railway Exhibition-cum-Rail Mela” is being organized from July 21 to 23 at SD College, Jagadhri Road, Ambala Cantonment.
Haryana Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Minister of State for Railways Suresh C Angadi presided over the function to give away the prizes to various railway employees and officers.
Later, the dignatories along with Railway Board Officials visited rail exhibition-cum-mela which is open for public from 12.30pm onwards on July 21.
During the mela, various zonal railways, production units, public sector units, armed forces, Haryana government are participating.
RCF, Kapurthala is showcasing new initiatives, cutting edge technologies, innovations through display boards, coach models and working models in its stall in order to disseminate ideas and information to the public.
The 3 phase MEMU garnered a big curiosity by visitors whose manufacturing is underway in RCF at fast pace.
General Manager TP Singh, RK Mangla, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Baldev Raj, CPRO , Jitesh Kumar, PRO were present on the occasion.
