Kapurthala, November 30, 2023: Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala has started a new initiative of handing over the retirement letters of the retiring employees every month from the month of November along with handing over promotion orders to the employees who are promoted in their place on the same day.
Under this novel scheme, a Retirement –cum- Promotion ceremony was organized today at the Technical Training Center Auditorium in RCF which was presided over by S Srinivas, General Manager, RCF. In this function, pension papers along with their settlement dues were handed over to 16 employees and 2 officers by the General Manager on their retirement and promotion letters were distributed to 29 employees.
The function was organized on a large scale for the first time and will be continued every month. When an officer/employee retires in RCF, the promotion letter will be handed over to the next employee ranked for promotion in his place by the retiring senior employee on the last working day, every month.
Under this scheme in today's ceremony, the retiring employees handed over the promotion letters to the employees who received promotion. Later, RCF General Manager distributed retirement and settlement dues letters to the retiring employees/officers. On this occasion, Shri S Srinivas wished the retiring employees/officers a bright future and good healthy life. In his address, he said that their contribution to the laurels won by RCF will never be forgotten. Congratulating the employees who were promoted, he expressed hope that they will maintain the dignity of their new posts and work more efficiently for the name of RCF.
All the retired and promoted employees looked extremely happy in the function and thanked the RCF administration for organizing the honor-filled ceremony. On this occasion, family members of retired employees, all senior officials and office bearers of RCF unions and associations were also present.
