Kapurthala, October 31, 2025: Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala organized a “Run for Unity” today to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) across the country.
The event was flagged off by Ravi Kumar, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, RCF. RCF Officers and Employees, RPF personnels, Sportspersons participated enthusiastically in the run, spreading the message of unity, integrity, and national strength.
Addressing the participants, Ravi Kumar emphasized the vision of Sardar Patel in uniting the nation and urged everyone to uphold the spirit of oneness and harmony in all walks of life. The event concluded with the administration administering the Unity Pledge to all participants. Besides, the Ekta pledge was administered to all the employees at their respective workplaces.
The “Run for Unity” reflected RCF’s commitment to national integration and the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
