Hoshiarpur, September 12, 2026: A specialized sensitization session under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) – 2027 Mega Participation Drive was conducted for NSS and non-NSS volunteers of Rayat Bahra Professional University, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, and Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The keynote session was addressed by Ankush Nijhawan, Young Professional at the Regional Directorate of NSS, Chandigarh, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Nijhawan sensitized students regarding the ongoing National-Level Quiz Competition hosted on the 'MY Bharat' portal. Delivering a comprehensive step-by-step digital demonstration, he guided participants through account login, selecting the user type as 'NSS', utilizing the official referral code (7AUQYY3E), completing profile details, and attempting the quiz. Highlighting that such platforms nurture leadership and critical thinking, he urged the youth to embody the ethos: "Hamara Sankalp – Viksit Bharat, Hamari Shakti – Yuva Shakti, Hamari Pehchan – Ek Zimmedar Yuva Bharat."
The program was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Chandermohan, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Pallavi Pandit, NSS Program Coordinator of Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur. Inspiring the gathering, the university leadership urged students to remain attentive, curious, informed, and actively involved in national youth development initiatives. The drive concluded with strong enthusiasm among students to contribute toward building a developed nation.
