Ravana effigy disguised as Covid put to flame by hospital staff
Santokh Hospital’s staff and doctors along with local residents put a Ravana effigy disguised as Covid to fire at Chandigarh on Friday.

Chandigarh, October 15, 2021: Santokh Hospital, Chandigarh celebrated Dussehra as a symbolic fight over evil-Covid by setting up a Ravana effigy disguised as the virus to flame. The staff, doctors and local residents led by Major (retd) DP Singh, president of Senior Citizen Association, sector 38 used arrows lookalike vaccination syringes to put the fire to effigy by giving a message about the importance of vaccination to curtail the deadly virus.
Speaking on occasion, Dr. Hardeep Singh Santokh, director of hospital said that during Covid’s 1st and 2nd waves, doctors, police, health and front line staff worked jointly like ‘Lord Ram’ army to defeat Ravana like evil-Covid .
DP Singh said vaccination is the real ‘brahmastra’ against Covid.
