Chandigarh, September 9, 2026: Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, organized a cafeteria on Wednesday in the Institutional Food Lab as part of the celebration of the 9th Rashtriya Poshan Maah. The activity was conducted by the M.Sc. Foods and Nutrition students.
The theme of the 9th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026 is “Hamari Anganwadi, Hamari Jimmedari”, highlighting community participation and shared responsibility towards nutrition, health, care, and early childhood development.
As part of the cafeteria activity, the students planned, prepared, presented, served a nutritious and appealing menu consisting of Healthy Bread Pizza and Mojito. The activity provided students with practical experience in menu planning, food preparation, presentation, service, hygiene, and teamwork. Principal mam appreciated the students’ efforts, and encouraged them to continue promoting healthy food choices and nutrition awareness.
