Ranjodh Singh’s ‘Totke-2’ released

Ludhiana, November 6, 2023: 'Totkey-2', a book on daily- life observations and humorous commentary, written by industrialist -writer Ranjodh Singh, was released today by three stalwarts of the Punjabi Literary firmament, Dr. Surjit  Patar, Prof. Gurbhajan Gill, and Janmeja Johal, at Mata Tripta ji Hall of Ramgarhia Girls College. 

This book is in continuation of the first part 'Totke -1' written 4 years ago. Ranjodh Singh has a keen eye for life lessons and puts them succinctly  in a light vein. Then there are some jokes which he has heard here and there, and which have tickled his funny bone. 

Professor Gurbhajan Gill commented that Ranjodh Singh is taking the cultural legacy of his illustrious family,  and has created a literary incubator as President of the Ramgarhia Girls College where literature is blooming and growing. 

Dr. Surjit Patar acknowledged the role of literature in grooming an industrialist in a manner that has put Ludhiana on the literary map of Punjab. 

Janmeja Johal congratulated  Ranjodh Singh for the lively observations that he makes on incidents and people around him,  and the habit of noting these 'everyday trifles' to ultimately present them in a bouquet of thoughts.

The stage was conducted by Dr. Harbinder Kaur,  Head, P.G. Department of Punjabi.
