Rangoli highlights Viksit Bharat vision as Seva Sankalp Abhiyan begins at UHSR
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR) began with the unveiling of three large rangolis depicting the themes of service, resolve and prosperity at the OPD complex.
Rohtak, September 18, 2026: The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR) began with the unveiling of three large rangolis depicting the themes of service, resolve and prosperity at the OPD complex.
Vice-Chancellor Dr H.K. Aggarwal unveiled the rangolis after lighting the ceremonial lamp. He said the goal of Viksit Bharat@2047 could be achieved only through selfless contribution by citizens in their respective fields. “For a doctor, serving patients is service to the nation,” he said, adding that the rangolis conveyed a message of commitment to national development.
Registrar Dr Roop Singh said the campaign, continuing till October 17, seeks to connect the spirit of service with civic responsibility.
Dr Manjunath, PR Incharge said that the rangoli theme was designed by the Department of Medical Illustration and executed by around 14 students from the dental, pharmacy and nursing colleges. The artwork, completed in over 14 hours, showcases various dimensions of development, including education, healthcare, agriculture, water management and industry.
The rangolis will remain on display for a month to spread awareness about selfless service and a firm resolve towards a Viksit Haryana and Viksit Bharat@2047. Participants also pledged to contribute towards building a developed India.
