Rangareddy Raptors, Nalgonda Speed Strikers and Vikarabad Mambas shine on Day 2 of Telangana Junior Basketball League

Hyderabad, June 21, 2026: Exciting action continued on Day 2 of the Telangana Junior Basketball League (TJBL), currently underway at the Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium (KVRIS), Yousufguda, Hyderabad. The league, which has brought together some of the most promising young basketball talent from across Telangana, will continue until June 28, with matches being played daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The second day witnessed several impressive performances across different categories, with teams displaying skill, determination, and competitive spirit.
In the Under-18 Girls category, Rangareddy Raptors registered a convincing victory over Warangal Stallions, winning 56-28.
In the Under-15 Boys category, Nalgonda Speed Strikers outplayed Nizam Royals to secure a 76-60 win.
Another Under-18 Girls encounter saw Vikarabad Mambas dominate Hyderabad Hurricanes, posting a comfortable 47-24 victory.
In the Under-18 Boys category, Vikarabad Mambas continued their winning momentum by defeating Warangal Stallions 73-61 in an exciting contest.
The league continues to attract enthusiastic participation from players, coaches, franchise owners, and basketball enthusiasts, reflecting the growing popularity of the sport in Telangana.
The league action will continue on Monday (i.e June 22) with four exciting matches. In the Under-15 Girls category, Warangal Stallions will take on Ranga Reddy Raptors at 5:00 PM. This will be followed by the Under-15 Boys Pool A encounter between Vikarabad Mambas and Nalgonda Speed Strikers at 6:00 PM. In the Under-18 Girls category, Nizam Royals will face Hyderabad Hurricanes at 7:00 PM. The day’s final match will feature Ranga Reddy Raptors against Warangal Stallions in the Under-15 Boys category at 8:00 PM.P
