Ramgarhia Girls College Stages ‘Jinn Patt Rakhi’ on Teachers’ Day

Ludhiana, September 5, 2026: The PG Department of Punjabi, Ramgarhia Girls College, organised a theatrical presentation of ‘Jinn Patt Rakhi’, written by Dr. Nirmal Jaura, before the students on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. 
The programme was graced by Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, Renowned Scientist and Academician, from PAU, Ludhiana as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Nirmal Jaura, Formar Director, Student Welfare and Cultural Activities, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, attended as the Guest of Honour. 
Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, and Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur,  extended a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests. Through the play, the life, teachings, and unparalleled martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji were portrayed effectively on stage. The powerful performances brought alive the profound message of courage, righteousness, religious freedom, and humanity embodied in the life and sacrifice of Guru Sahib. 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nirmal Jaura said, “The purpose of writing this play based on the life of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji is to convey to the younger generation the message of unity and humanity embodied in Guru Sahib’s great martyrdom for the protection of religion, and to acquaint them with Guru Sahib’s principles and philosophy concerning righteousness and religion.” 
Sharing his thoughts with the students, Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal said, “Today, through this stage presentation, we witnessed the life of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji through the remarkable portrayal by the performers. The teachings and sacrifices of our revered Gurus continue to provide the entire humanity with the right direction in life. Through today’s presentation, we have paid our heartfelt tribute of reverence and respect to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.” 
On the occasion, Ranjodh Singh extended warm greetings to everyone on Teachers’ Day. He said that teachers always guide their students to follow the path of truth. The Sikh Gurus, too, have given the entire humanity the message of walking on the path of truth, and this profound message was beautifully reflected through the play presented today. 
The programme was attended by members of the Ramgarhia Educational Council, Principals of various Ramgarhia educational institutions, and other distinguished personalities from the city. All the esteemed guests were honoured with mementoes by the college as a token of respect and appreciation. 
At the conclusion of the programme, Dr. Ajit Kaur expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the distinguished guests and everyone present for their gracious presence and support in making the programme meaningful and memorable.
