Ramgarhia Girls College Secures Fourth Overall Position at Panjab University’s 67th Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival

Ramgarhia Girls College has added another significant milestone to its record of academic and cultural accomplishments by securing fourth position overall at the 67th Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone II) of Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Ludhiana, October 10, 2026: Ramgarhia Girls College has added another significant milestone to its record of academic and cultural accomplishments by securing fourth position overall at the 67th Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone II) of Panjab University, Chandigarh. 
Held from 6 to 9 October at Malwa College, Bondli, Samrala, the festival brought together participants from 28 colleges, providing a vibrant platform for the expression of artistic excellence, literary creativity, cultural heritage, and intellectual abilities. Amidst spirited competition, the students of Ramgarhia Girls College distinguished themselves through an outstanding performance across a diverse range of on-stage and off-stage events, securing numerous prizes and bringing laurels to the institution. Demonstrating exceptional talent, rigorous preparation, and a commendable commitment to cultural pursuits, the college contingent delivered an impressive performance across various competitions. The students showcased their artistic abilities, literary aptitude, and cultural proficiency. 
Congratulating the college fraternity on this remarkable achievement, Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, commended the students and faculty for their collective efforts. He remarked, “It is a matter of immense pride that our college has secured so many prizes at such a prestigious platform, competing with participants from 28 colleges. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of our students and the sustained guidance and encouragement provided by their teachers. The winning students have brought honour not only to the institution but also to their parents, making the entire college fraternity proud.” 
Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur expressed her delight at the college's commendable performance and congratulated the winning students, the faculty, and the management on this collective accomplishment. Expressing her gratitude to the Almighty, she extended her best wishes to the students for continued success in their future endeavours. She also specially congratulated Prof. Tajinder Kaur and Prof. Neeru Khurana, Contingent In-charges of the Youth Festival, acknowledging their dedicated efforts, effective coordination, and valuable contribution to the college's success.
