Ramgarhia Girls College organises Talent Hunt Show and Freshers Party

Ludhiana, September 3, 2026: Ramgarhia Girls College came alive with enthusiasm and youthful exuberance as the Central Student Association (CSA) organised a vibrant Talent Hunt and Freshers Party to warmly welcome the newly admitted students and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent, creativity and individuality. 
The event was graced by Rajinder Kaur, Managing Director, GS Radiators, as the Chief Guest, while Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, was present as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Nirmal Jaura also graced the occasion. 
Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur, along with CSA in-charges Prof. Ritu Sood and Prof. Aarti Kapoor, extended a warm floral welcome to the distinguished guests. 
The Talent Hunt brought together a delightful spectrum of dance, music and theatrical performances, with students participating enthusiastically and displaying remarkable creativity, confidence and stage presence. The vibrant presentations reflected the artistic potential of the students and added colour and energy to the celebrations. The much-awaited Ms. Freshers Competition was the highlight of the programme. Conducted through three engaging rounds, the competition provided contestants with an opportunity to demonstrate their confidence, intelligence, communication skills, poise and overall personality. The spirited participation and graceful performances made each round an engaging showcase of individuality and talent. The competition culminated with the crowning of Kirandeep Kaur of BCA l as Miss Freshers, while Arshdeep Kaur of BA l and Khushboo of B.Com l were adjudged First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up, respectively. The special titles of Miss Beautiful were conferred upon Bhoomi of B.Com I, Miss Elegant upon Hansika of BCA I, Miss Popular upon Tanveer Kaur, and Miss Charming upon Shagun of B.Com I, respectively. 
Chief Guest Rajinder Kaur crowned and felicitated the winners, making the occasion a memorable highlight of the celebration.  
Addressing the students, Ranjodh Singh said, “Co-curricular activities complement education by nurturing confidence, creativity and individuality. Every student should embrace such opportunities to discover her potential and grow.” 
Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur congratulated the students and appreciated their enthusiastic participation. She remarked, “It is wonderful to see our new students begin their college journey with such enthusiasm and confidence. We hope they continue to explore their potential, excel in every sphere and bring laurels to the institution.” 
The Principal also commended Prof. Ritu Sood and Prof. Aarti Kapoor, CSA in-charges, for their meticulous planning and efficient coordination in making the event a memorable success.  
The event also witnessed the release of an enchanting song by Dilveen Kaur Makkar of M.A. I Music (Vocal).
