Ramgarhia Girls College Marks New Academic Session with ‘Sankalp Diwas’

Ludhiana, August 13, 2026: Ramgarhia Girls College organised Sankalp Diwas at Baba Gurmukh Singh Hall to mark the auspicious beginning of the new academic session 2026–27. In keeping with the rich spiritual and cultural traditions of the institution, the Ramgarhia Educational Council, Principal, faculty members and students sought the blessings of the Almighty by participating in the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path with deep devotion and reverence. The Sahaj Path, which was commenced on August 6, was concluded on August 13 in a deeply spiritual and serene atmosphere.
The programme commenced with a soulful Kirtan presented by the students of the PG Department of Music, which filled the hall with devotion and spiritual fervour. Thereafter, Bibi Sharandeep Kaur (Canada Wale), an alumna of the College Music Department, connected the congregation with the Guru's teachings through her soulful kirtan.
Addressing the gathering, Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, extended his heartfelt wishes to the students and staff for the new academic session. Emphasising the importance of faith, dedication and hard work, he said, “When we begin any task by remembering God and carry it forward with sincere effort and dedication, it is always brought to completion. In student life, seeking the support and blessings of the Almighty is essential for maintaining inner strength and staying free from stress.”
Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur welcomed and congratulated the newly admitted students on the commencement of their academic journey. She encouraged them to seek the blessings of the Almighty before embarking on every important endeavour in life and inspired them to pursue their goals with hard work, perseverance, sincerity and honesty.
The auspicious occasion was graced by several prominent personalities of Ludhiana, members of the Ramgarhia Educational Council, and Principals of various Ramgarhia educational institutions, who paid their respects and sought the blessings of the Guru.
