Ramgarhia Girls College Hosts Investiture Ceremony and Welcomes New Session with Enthusiasm
Ramgarhia Girls College marked the beginning of the new academic session 2025–26 with its first General Assembly and the Investiture Ceremony of the Central Students’ Association (CSA) in the college auditorium.

Jalandhar, August 7, 2025:Ramgarhia Girls College marked the beginning of the new academic session 2025–26 with its first General Assembly and the Investiture Ceremony of the Central Students’ Association (CSA) in the college auditorium.
The event began on a spiritual note with a soulful Shabad Gayan presented by the students of the PG Department of Music. Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur graced the occasion as the chief guest and was warmly welcomed with a floral bouquet by CSA in-charges Prof. Tajinder Kaur and Prof. Aarti Kapur, along with Assembly in-charges Dr. Harbinder Kaur and Prof. Mandeep Kaur.
During the assembly, faculty members were introduced to the students, followed by the formal announcement of the new CSA members.
Dilveen Kaur Makkar of BA III was declared the College Head Girl.
Khemica Sharma of B.Com III was named the College Deputy Head Girl.
Bhumika of B.Com III was nominated as the NSS President, and
Palak of B.Com III was appointed as the NSS Secretary.
Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur congratulated both the newly admitted students and the newly appointed CSA members. In her inspiring address, she said, "Just like in the previous years, we hope our college continues to scale new heights of success. With your hard work and dedication, may you bring pride to your college and your parents."
CSA in-charges Prof. Tajinder Kaur and Prof. Aarti Kapur were appreciated for mentoring and preparing a spirited student leadership team. Ranjodh Singh, President of Ramgarhia Educational Council, also sent his best wishes, encouraging the students to stay positive and move forward in life with determination.
The assembly concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem.
