Ramgarhia Girls College Holds Convocation Ceremony, Honours Academic Achievers

Ludhiana, June 26, 2026: Ramgarhia Girls College organized its Convocation and Prize Distribution Ceremony with great enthusiasm to honour the academic achievements of students who successfully completed their examinations. Students who brought laurels to the institution through outstanding performance at Panjab University, Chandigarh, were felicitated with Roll of Honour awards, while meritorious students  received prizes for excellence in academics, sports, and cultural activities. 
Dr. Davinder Singh, President, Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Neelam Kaur, Vice Chancellor, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, presided over the ceremony.
Ritu Singal (Author and Managing Director, Nippon Leatherette Pvt. Ltd.) and Sandeep Riyat (Managing Director, Akal Spring Ltd.) attended as Special Guests. The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, Gurcharan Singh Lotey, Secretary, and Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur. Dr. Satish Sharma, Dr. Balbir Shah, Amarjeet Singh Tikka also graced the occasion. The programme commenced with the soulful rendition of “Deh Shiva Bar Mohe Ehai” by students of the PG Department of Music Vocal, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. 
Nearly 400 graduate and postgraduate students were conferred degrees during the ceremony. Students who excelled in academics, cultural activities, sports, NCC, NSS, and other co-curricular fields were honoured with Roll of Honour awards and special prizes. 
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Davinder Singh congratulated the graduates and awardees and emphasized that education should be utilized for the service of society, the nation, and humanity. 
Presiding over the function, Dr. Neelam Kaur encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity, commitment, and a spirit of lifelong learning. Principal Dr. Ajit Kaur presented the Annual Report of the College, highlighting its significant achievements in academics, sports, cultural activities, and community outreach. She reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to value-based education and holistic development. She stated, “The college has always emphasized value-based education along with academic excellence. We are confident that our talented students will achieve success in every sphere of life.” 
Ranjodh Singh applauded the achievements of the students and said, “Through their hard work, determination, and dedication, these students have reached new heights and brought pride to their college and parents.” 
Members of the Ramgarhia Educational Council, along with Principals of various institutions under the Council, were also present on the occasion. All the distinguished guests were honoured with mementos on behalf of the college family as a token of respect and appreciation. 
Secretary Gurcharan Singh Lotey proposed a vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the recital of the national anthem.
