Ramayana to Echo Across 400+ Schools

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): One of India's most revered epics, Ramayana, is set to reach the hearts of the younger generation not only through the big screen but also through a unique nationwide school campaign. Launched ahead of the film's release, this special initiative aims to connect children with India's rich cultural heritage, timeless values, and family traditions.

Spanning more than 400 schools across 18 cities and engaging over 500,000 students, the campaign will introduce children to the timeless stories of Ramayana through drawing competitions, quizzes, creative activities, and interactive sessions. One of its most distinctive aspects is that it encourages not only students but also their families to engage in meaningful conversations about the ideals and values embodied in the epic.

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra's ambitious cinematic adaptation of Ramayana is being positioned as a grand global showcase of Indian culture. Featuring an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey, the film will be released in two parts. The first installment is scheduled for a worldwide IMAX and theatrical release during Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in Diwali 2027.

The launch of this nationwide school campaign ahead of the film underscores that Ramayana is not just a cinematic event but a broader cultural movement dedicated to passing India's timeless values and traditions on to the next generation.
