Chandigarh, August 25, 2015: On this Rakhi festival, a five minute short movie titled ‘Gal Ban Gayi’ (in Punjabi) talks about a deal and mutual agreement that happens between Kannu and Simmi who belong to a middle-class Punjabi Family. The episodic short film produced and presented under the banner Rolling Frames Entertainment has hit YouTube, Facebook and Twitter on today to spread the colors of the festival.
The plot resides on a buffet of twists joining relevance to upcoming festivity of Rakshabandhan. The film which is made in Punjabi language, is a drama-comedy.
It has been written, produced and directed by Ojaswee Sharma. Actor Kanwalpreet Singh plays “Kannu” in the episode. He plays what he is in his real life, and plays it effortlessly naturally.
Model turned actor Shilpa Dhar plays “Simmi” in the film who is a cute bubbly girl. She has performed really well to get into the skin of the character.
Kanwalpreet, being one of the fine artists of the industry today, also took a step ahead and penned couple of cracking lines for the dialogues, which have come very natural from the man himself.
The Team of Ojaswee and Kanwalpreet has produced good entertainers for the internet audience in the past such as Kamley(2014), The Parikrama of Gurudwara (2014) and the ongoing web series Kanwal #Diaries (2015).
The Producer-Director, Ojaswee Sharma credits his entire team of fine artists and his assistants for creating entertaining content for the audience time and again.
The duo shall be joining on screen for an upcoming video on Bodybuilding and have plans to go on floor this October with the sequel of Kamley which will be a multi-starrer roller coaster.
