Rajni Patil Visits HPBOSE Headquarters, Reviews Education Reforms
Rajni Patil, AICC In-charge for Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and former Member of Parliament, visited the headquarters of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) in Dharamshala on Sunday. During her courtesy visit, she reviewed the Board's functioning and took stock of the reforms being implemented to strengthen the state's education system.
Dharamshala, July 27, 2024: Rajni Patil, AICC In-charge for Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and former Member of Parliament, visited the headquarters of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) in Dharamshala on Sunday. During her courtesy visit, she reviewed the Board's functioning and took stock of the reforms being implemented to strengthen the state's education system.
HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma welcomed Smt. Patil and briefed her on the Board's key initiatives aimed at improving academic standards and enhancing student welfare. He also highlighted the major reforms introduced in the examination system and educational administration.
During her visit, Patil toured various sections of the Board and was apprised of the academic and examination-related reforms being implemented in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Dr. Sharma informed her that technology-driven digital systems have been introduced to make the examination process more transparent, efficient, and student-friendly. He also outlined new initiatives designed to promote holistic assessment and improve the overall quality of education.
The two leaders held detailed discussions on strengthening educational standards, ensuring the holistic development of students, and enhancing teachers' professional competencies through capacity-building initiatives.
Expressing appreciation for the Board's efforts, Patil commended the initiatives being undertaken to modernise the education system and improve academic outcomes.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Rajesh Sharma thanked Patil for visiting the Board headquarters and presented her with a memento as a token of appreciation.
