Rajasthan: Vasundhara Raje backs PM Modi’s fast‑track courts for paper leak cases

Jaipur, July 23 (IANS) Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Thursday welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to establish fast‑track courts for examination paper leak cases, calling it a decisive step towards ensuring justice for lakhs of young aspirants and safeguarding the integrity of the country’s recruitment system.

In a statement shared on social media, Raje said the confidence of India’s youth is the nation’s greatest strength and the foundation of a developed India.

“Youth power’s confidence is the biggest capital of a Viksit Bharat,” she said, emphasising that protecting the aspirations of young people must remain a national priority.

Referring to the Centre’s decision to set up fast‑track courts for paper leak cases, the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said the move would help ensure speedy justice for candidates affected by examination‑related irregularities.

Raje said the decision reflects the Government’s commitment to protecting the future of students and job aspirants who prepare for competitive examinations with dedication and hard work. She added that the initiative sends a strong message that those involved in examination paper leaks and recruitment scams would not be treated with leniency.

“The resolve to protect the future of our youth clearly conveys that there will be no softness towards those who play with the dreams, talent and hard work of young people,” Raje said.

The former Chief Minister noted that examination paper leaks not only disrupt recruitment processes but also undermine the confidence of deserving candidates who invest years preparing for government jobs. She said swift legal action through dedicated fast‑track courts would strengthen public trust in the examination system and serve as a deterrent against organised paper leak networks.

Raje reiterated that transparent and fair recruitment is essential for ensuring equal opportunities for the youth and said every effort should be made to safeguard the aspirations of students. She expressed confidence that the proposed fast‑track courts would accelerate the delivery of justice and reinforce accountability in cases involving examination fraud.
