Chandigarh | 22 May 2025: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has strongly condemned the Congress for echoing Pakistan’s propaganda at a time when the nation is united in its resolve to crush terrorism. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent all-party delegations across the globe to expose Pakistan’s terror infrastructure, Congress leaders are busy raising petty and irresponsible questions that only serve Pakistan’s narrative.

Chugh said, “Operation Sindoor is not just a military operation — it is a bold and decisive action that has struck directly at the core of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

While India is exposing Pakistan’s duplicity on the world stage, the Congress is busy creating confusion and doubt within the country. This isn’t criticism — it is collaboration with the enemy’s script.”

He slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for questioning the losses suffered during Operation Sindoor, calling it a direct attempt to become the mouthpiece of Pakistan. “Rahul Gandhi’s statements are not just politically immature, they are dangerously aligned with Pakistan’s propaganda,” Chugh said.

Taking strong exception to remarks made by a senior Congress leader on the quality of drones used by Indian defence forces, Chugh said, “It is appalling that Congress leaders are mocking India’s defence capabilities while our armed forces are giving a befitting reply to terrorists. Such anti-national commentary is an insult to our jawans and a boost to our enemies.”

Chugh accused the Congress of playing a double game — pretending to stand for national interest while actively working to undermine it through appeasement politics and vote-bank compulsions. “Congress must come clean — do they stand with India or with those who seek to destabilize it?”

He added, “At a time when the nation is paying homage to our martyred soldiers and saluting our armed forces for their bravery, the Congress party is indulging in disgraceful rhetoric. This is not the first time. From Balakot to Uri to Operation Sindoor, Congress has always chosen to speak the language of Pakistan whenever India strikes back.”

Chugh concluded by warning that such behaviour by the Congress is not just irresponsible — it is a betrayal of national unity. “The Indian public sees through this hypocrisy. The Congress cannot play both sides. They must answer to the nation — are they with Bharat or with its enemies?”
