Rahul Gandhi’s Foreign Visit Is an Anti-India Exercise: Tarun Chugh
Rahul Gandhi’s Politics Rejected at Home, Exported Abroad : Chugh
Chandigarh, December 23, 2025: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh strongly reacted to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks in Berlin, stating that every foreign visit by Rahul Gandhi has now turned into a platform to defame India. He said attacking India’s constitutional institutions on foreign soil is not democratic criticism but a deliberate attempt to damage the country’s global image. Claiming in Berlin that India’s institutions have been captured and that nothing is fair reflects contempt for India’s democracy.
Chugh said Rahul Gandhi has once again shown that he is not a Leader of Opposition, but a Leader of Propaganda, Tourism, and Political Escape. He levels allegations wherever he goes and then avoids accountability. Insulting India’s institutions and governance framework has become his political pattern.
He added that those whose tenure is remembered for massive scams have no moral authority to question India. During the UPA era, scams such as 2G, Commonwealth Games, coal scam, and the National Herald case came to light, with even the CAG flagging serious irregularities. Such leaders now lecturing the nation is deeply unfortunate.
On Rahul Gandhi’s remarks praising China, Chugh said before glorifying China, he must explain his party’s record. Weak policies, inefficient governance, and despair marked the UPA period. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as the world’s fastest-growing economy through Make in India, fiscal discipline, and decisive reforms. Politics driven by fear and division has no future in India.
