PV Sindhu all praises for 14-year-old table tennis prodigy Suhana Saini

Many of us play sports as a hobby, but there are few who take it up professionally at a very young age and make everyone proud with their achievements. 14-year-old Suhana Saini, is one such gem who found her true calling in table tennis early in life and made India proud with her success. Suhana will be seen in the show Young Genius, which celebrates child prodigies, where she got to interact with India’s Badminton star P V Sindhu, an Olympic medallist, winner of Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards.
 
Suhana Saini of Rohtak, Haryana, is India’s no 1 Table Tennis player (U 15) and is on 22nd position in world ranking table (Cadets- Women Singles). Suhana has won medals at over 50 national and international competitions including multiple ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) tournaments as well as the South Asia Jr and cadet table tennis Champion In 2018.
 
At Young Genius, Suhana engaged in an inspiring chat with PV Sindhu and discussed how the latter continued to achieve success and went on to become world champion. PV Sindhu also praised Suhana and hoped that the Young Genius wins more medals for India. PV Sindhu said, “When I started playing badminton, I did not aim to become the world champion. I wanted to take it step by step and year by year. Winning and losing is secondary, but the only thing we must believe in is ourselves. That is the only thing I did, and I wish I continue doing that, and I wish you (Suhana) do the same thing too. I have heard a lot about you, and I hope you get many more medals for the country.”
