Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust Organizes Community Kitchen
Those who serve society selflessly earn true respect from the community: Social-Woker Amitabh Rungta
Panchkula, November 17, 2025: Fulfilling its social responsibility, the Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust organized its 189th community Kitchen or 'ann bhandara' with a spirit of service at Industrial Area, Phase-1, Panchkula. During the camp, food was distributed with devotion to the needy and to passersby.
Amitabh Rungta, the founder of the Trust and a noted social worker, said that organizing such community kitchens or 'ann bhandaras' is not only religiously significant but also socially important. He stated that those who lead public service with a selfless spirit are always viewed with respect by society. Their goodwill spreads to such an extent that not only the needy but many others also wish to stay connected with them.
He further said that service initiatives like community Kitchen inspire various sections of society, encouraging people to contribute to public service in their own ways and establish a positive identity in the community. According to Amitabh Rungta, such initiatives strengthen the spirit of service, cooperation, and humanity in society.
Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra, and Nidhi Sandhu were prominently present at the event. All of them, along with the Trust members, actively participated in the service activities and distributed food with devotion.
