Ludhiana, May 19, 2026: MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain and GLADA Chief Administrator Ojasvi Alankar jointly dedicated the “Padhai AI Lab” at the School of Eminence on Tuesday.
The “Padhai AI Lab” will enable students to learn coding, mathematics, science, English and test preparation through AI-powered educational applications and digital learning tools. The lab has been specially designed to help school students’ complete assignments digitally while enhancing their understanding through interactive and technology-driven learning methods.
The initiative is the first-of-its-kind AI-enabled learning lab developed by the district administration in collaboration with GLADA, Conic, Codeyoung and ICICI Bank at the school. Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed between the district administration and Vonic and Codeyoung to further strengthen digital education initiatives.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal appreciated the district administration and GLADA for establishing the AI Lab at the school. He stated that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has been carrying out revolutionary reforms in the education sector, transforming government schools across the state since 2022. He added that Artificial Intelligence is the need of the hour and encouraged students to make maximum use of the facility to prepare themselves for future opportunities.
Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain also lauded the Ojasvi Alankar for initiative and said that Artificial Intelligence would play a major role in the country’s development in the coming years. He urged students to gain maximum knowledge and practical exposure through the AI Lab.
GLADA Chief Administrator Ojasvi Alankar, who is also the mentor of the school, described the initiative as a golden opportunity for students to gain skill-based education and stay ahead in the competitive world. He stressed that such exposure would give students an edge when they enter colleges and universities. He added that these skills would help students become self-reliant, job creators rather than job seekers, and meaningful contributors to the country’s technological advancement. He also thanked the CSR partners for supporting the administration in this initiative.
GLADA Estate Officer Aman Gupta, municipal councillors and officials from education department were also present.
