Punjabi Students Organise Farewell Party for Their Seniors

Jalandhar, April 26, 2017: The Punjabi Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized a farewell party for the outgoing students of MA Punjabi. Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra gave his best wishes to the students. The Head of the Department Dr.Kulwant Singh Sandhu and Prof.Gopal Sing Buttar welcomed other guests and students. Students presented various entertainment laden activities such as Gidha, Bhangra, Poem, Gazal, Skit, Punjabi Folk Song etc where in Jaswinder Singh and Veena were adjudged as Mr.and Miss ‘Farewell’ and Gurpreet Kaur, Prabhjot Kaur, Suveen and Sukhwinder Singh were awarded for their performances respectively. The winners were presented with various bouquets and gifts. Dr.Sukhdev Singh Nagra, Dr.Harjinder Singh and Prof.Gurjeet Kaur acted as judges for the events. All the staff members of the Department were also present on this occasion.
