Chandigarh: Punjabi singer Nobby Singh paid a visit at Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Sector 17-A, Chandigarh, where Buddy Cabs and Care has set up a Mini Covid Care Centre. A 25-bed facility is available free for Covid positive patients here at Sri Aurobindo School.
Nobby Singh created a positive atmosphere at the Covid Care Centre with his melodious voice. Amid the coronavirus outbreak, there has been a fear among Covid positive patients, especially when it comes to hospitalization. It becomes even worse as no one comes near the positive patient due to fear of contracting the novel virus.
If a well-known singer, in such a situation, visits the positive patients and sings song for them, it becomes a matter of peace, happiness, positivity. Likewise, Nobby Singh, popularly known for his song Dream Girl, visited the premises and sung some of his songs to help patients overcome the fear.
Social activist Sartaj Lamba, the director of the COVID Care Centre, appreciated Nobby for initiative and also urged him to decorate such gathering every week.
Meanwhile, Nobby Singh said that it was a wonderful experience as he was so relaxed. The appreciation and applauds of COVID patients was more valuable than the millions hits of Instagram. Even as he promised to perform at COVID Care Centres for free of cost.
Dr. Avneet Bani Lamba and Dr. DS Chauhan of the Centre said that such initiatives are always helpful in reducing the mental stress of the patients to a great extent. Artists from every section of the society should play their role in the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic.
Nobby Singh is a renowned Punjabi singer who has lent his melodious voice to several songs including the hit song Dream Girl. He is set to come up with many more projects in the coming days while his another song is set to release this month.
