Punjabi singer Murdered Brutally, Gangster Terror Must Be Crushed Without Mercy- Grewal

Ludhiana, May 19, 2026: National BJP leader Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that the cold-blooded brutal murder of Ludhiana’s Punjabi singer Inder Kaur alias Yashinder Kaur is one of the most horrifying and shameful crimes to hit Punjab in recent times. He said that this barbaric incident has shaken the conscience of Punjabis across the world and exposed the dangerous mindset of ruthless criminal gangs who believe they can spread terror openly without fear of law. Grewal said that a daughter of Punjab was allegedly abducted at gunpoint, murdered mercilessly and her body thrown into Neelon Canal in a manner that reflects extreme brutality, inhumanity and criminal arrogance.
Grewal said that Punjab has already suffered enough because of gang culture, criminal mafias and anti-social elements who are trying to destroy the peace, brotherhood and cultural pride of the state. He said that such bloodthirsty killers have no right to live freely in society and strict exemplary punishment must be ensured so that future criminals tremble before committing such crimes. He  said that these monsters acted with shocking cruelty and attempted to dispose of the body as if human life carried no value. He stated that this incident is not only a murder but a direct attack on humanity, womanhood and Punjab’s honour.
He further said that every mother, sister, artist and Punjabi youth today feels anger, fear and pain after witnessing this horrifying crime. He said that the Punjabi music fraternity stands heartbroken and outraged because another precious voice of Punjab has been silenced through violence and terror. He stated that criminal gangs and those protecting them must understand clearly that Punjabis will never tolerate jungle raj, gangster culture or fear politics in Punjab.
Grewal strongly urged Director General of Police Punjab Gaurav Yadav, brave officers and jawans of Punjab Police along with all national investigation agencies to immediately hunt down every criminal, gangster, conspirator and mastermind connected with this brutal murder case. He said that the culprits must be arrested without delay and punished so strictly that no gang ever dares again to spread terror on the sacred land of Punjab. He stated that law enforcement agencies must crush every criminal network involved in kidnapping, extortion, drugs, illegal weapons and organised crime with an iron hand.
