Punjab U-25 defeat Railways U-25 by 201 runs in league match played at Puducherry under Men’s U-25 State A Trophy (2021-2022)

Mohali, November 25, 2021: 
PUNJAB VS RAILWAYS – PUNJAB WON BY 201 RUNS
In the fourth league match of the BCCI MENS U-25 STATE A TROPHY (2021-2022)  PUNJAB under 25 men's team took on  RAILWAYS under 25 at grounds of  Cricket Association of Pondicherry. Today Railways U-25 won the toss and decided to field first .  Punjab batting first played massive innings and scored a total of 296 runs for loss of 6 wickets  in their  50 overs. Pukhraj Mann scored a massive 127 runs off 85 balls which consisted of  seven boundaries and nine sixes ,  Jashanpreet Singh scored 43 runs off 70 balls with six boundaries , both of them were the main run-getters for P CA. For Railways Avijit Singh claimed 2 / 15 and M R Raut 2 /56 wickets.
Replying Railways were bundled out for a mere total of 95 runs in 23 overs. M R Raut scored 29 runs off 31 balls with one boundary and two sixes and Saurabh Singh scored  22 runs off 33 balls  with three boundaries were the main run-getters for Railways.  PCA U-25 bowlers Prince Balwant Rai claimed  4 / 31, Prerit Dutta 3 / 12 and Ikjot Singh Thind 2 / 34 wickets. With this win Punjab got 4 important points.  
Punjab will play their 5th match against Goa tomorrow i.e. on 26th Nov,2021.
