Ludhiana, November 2, 2025: The Punjab State Sub-Junior Badminton Championship 2025-26 was inaugurated at Shastri Badminton Hall, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana, on Sunday.
Organised by the Interim Committee, the four-day championship will conclude on November 5.
The championship features over 700 players (boys and girls) under the age of 15 and 17 from 20 districts, competing in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events. Matches are being held simultaneously at Shastri Badminton Hall and Sutlej Club.
The championship is set to be one of the biggest district-level badminton events in recent years.
For the first time, the competition will offer cash prizes worth ₹7 lakhs across multiple categories, ranging from Under-11 to Veteran levels.
