Ludhiana, August 23, 2019: On the Conclusion day of State Games for Boys under-14 Dedicated to the 550th Birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana, Patiala bagged overall team championship here today with 39 points in its pocket, Ludhiana got second position with 25 points whereas Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar has to satisfy with third place with 24 points. Kartar Singh Sehamby PSS, Deputy Director, Government of Punjab Department of Sports was the Chief Guest and gave away prizes to the winners. Earlier, Ravinder Singh District sports Officer Ludhiana gave warm welcome to the Chief guest and the other distinguished guests present on the occasion. In Athletics 200 meter Deepak Thakur of Fatehgarh sahib won gold clocking 25:40 sec, Paramveer Singh of Moga won Silver with 25:74 sec and Jobanpreet Singh of Ferozepur won the Bronze with 26:87 sec, 600 meter Karan Kumar of Saheed Bhagat Singh Nagar won the gold, Ankit Kumar of Jalandhar won the silver and Harpreet Singh of Roopnagar won the Bronze. In 4x100 meter Relay Ferozepur Bagged gold, Amritsar won Silver and Patiala won Bronze In Badminton, Pathankot won the Gold by beating Jalandhar in the finals with 2-0, Whereas Ludhiana and Gurdaspur won Bronze. In Kho-Khoo Ludhiana won the gold by Beating Sangrur In the Finals with 07-06, Jalandhar and Patiala were declared joint third with Bronze. In Semifinals Ludhiana beat Patiala 09-07 and Sangrur beat Jalandhar 11-07. In Gymnastics Patiala won the Gold with 263.20 points, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar won the silver with 244.70 points, Gurdaspur and Ludhiana won Bronze with 232.70 points. Sarthak of Sahizad Ajit Singh Nagar was declared the best Gymnast with 63.20 points, Sahil of Patiala second with 58.10 points, Lalit of Patiala third with 55.55 points. In Hockey Jalandhar won the Gold by Beating Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nager 2-0 and Bathinda won the Bronze by beating Ludhiana 4-3 penalty shootout. In Boxing Patiala won the Gold with 14 points, Amritsar won Silver with 12 points and Sangrur won Bronze with 10 points. In Volleyball Sahibzad Ajit Singh Nagar won the Gold By Beating Ludhiana with 3-2 and Amritasr won bronze by beating Mukatsar 3-0. In Roller Skating Sangrur won the Gold with 25 points, jalandhar wion silver with 18 points and Patiala won Bronze with 13 points In Archery Fazilka won the Gold with 634 points, Patiala won silver with 558 points and Shri Mukatsar sahib won Bronze with 556 points.
