Chandigarh, November 13, 2013: Mantar Singh Brar, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Punjab Government has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Adhoc committee of Punjab Wrestling Association. This appointment has been made by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Member Parliament.
Disclosing this here today, Mantar Singh Brar said that he will work with full sincerity and dedication for the promotion of the game and for the betterment of the wrestlers. He said that the Punjab Government has done a commendable job for the promotion of traditional games like Hockey, Kabbadi and Wrestling.
Pertinent to mention here that Brij Bhushan sharan, President of Indian Wrestling Federation in a letter to the Media has announced the appointment of Mantar Singh Brar as the Chairperson of the Adhoc Committee of Punjab Wrestling Association after the resignation of Khalifa Jasram Singh from the post.
