Punjab News/Eminent personalities honored with Prof. Mohan Singh Award

Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda): November 23, 2013: Prof  Ravinder Bhathal, Sukhwinder Amrit and Mal Singh Rampuri were among the 18 personalities who were honored with Prof Mohan Singh award on the 1st Day of 35th International Prof Mohan Singh Mela at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo for their contribution towards literature & culture.

Prof. Gurbhajan Singh Gill General Secretary, Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation and Director (Planning & Development) Guru Kashi University stated that Prof Ravinder Bhtahal gave ‘Kalle kohan ton Pare, Pagal Pauna Satran, Ambri Akh’ and `Man Mamti de Mor’ are the famous creations and as for as Smt Sukhwinder Amrit is concerned, she gave as many as seven poetry books on different themes to the literature lovers.

Prof.Gill also added that she has maintained continues pace in her books of poetry from ‘Surej Di Dehleej’ to ‘Neliya Mora Ve.’

Prof Gill Stated that the book by Mal Singh Rampuri ‘Gajni Ton Rampur’ at the age of 85 is not less than a gift to the literature lovers, along with this Rampuri is also serving since long being the founding member of Likhari Sabha, Rampur (Ludhiana).

Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation & Director (Planning & Development) Guru Kashi University honored Prof Ravinder Bhathal, Sukhwinder Amrit & Mal Singh Rampuri with Prof Mohan Singh award in the presence of many renowned writers and poets.
