Kapurthala, November 30, 2013: Science City, Kapurthala is celebrating International Pollution Control Day on December 3, in collaboration with Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) to commemorate Bhopal Gas Tragedy, the greatest Industrial Pollution Tragedy in the history of the World bringing into sharp focus the need to adopt preventive measures to avoid such disasters in the future.
This one day celebration in the Science City will give students an opportunity to participate in Science Drama, Debate and Painting competition.
Dr. S.S Marwaha , Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Biotechnology Incubator , Mohali will be deliver a motivational lecture on Pollution Control at 12 pm on December 3.
Dr. R.S Khandpur, Director General Science City will preside over the function.
