A delegation of Punjab Malwa Brahmin Sabha on Monday calls on Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal at Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, October 7, 2013: A delegation of Punjab Malwa Brahmin Sabha today called on Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and honoured him for his outstanding contribution for making Punjab a prosperous state and maintaining exemplary communal harmony in the state.
Delegation led by Pandit Som Pal president of sabha accompanied by members Rakesh Kumar, S.K. Attri, Pyare Lal, Durgesh Sharma and Rajiv Kumar honoured Deputy CM with a siropa (a robe of honour), a portrait of Mata Rani and a sword. Som Pal apprised Badal that the Sabha would organize annual mega religious event in Mata Rani Temple at village Maisarkhana on the 6th day of Navratras, where lakhs of devotees pay obeisance.
Badal assured the sabha to provide every needful cooperation from the Government of Punjab.
