PUNJAB NEWS- No official residential telephone facility for government officials

Chandigarh, September 19, 2013: Punjab Government has directed all the departments not provide any official residential telephone facility to government officials.

Disclosing this here today Spokesperson of the General Administration Department said that the officials who are entitled for this facility could get telephone connections at their personal capacity and submit telephone bills for reimbursement at their own level.

Spokesperson further said that reimbursement would be as per combined limit of bill of Landline, Mobile and Internet service.

He further said that officials/employees would submit only one certificate for claim of telephone or internet placed at their residence or their Mobile and that these services are being used for official purposes and reimbursement would done as per this certificate.
