Chandigarh, September 11, 2013: The Punjab government today suspended Sushil Kumar, Law Officer due to alleged graft charges with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here today the spokesman of the Punjab government said that he is placed under suspension with immediate effect in terms of rule 4 of the Punjab Civil Cervices (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970.
He further said that he would be entitled subsistence allowance during the suspension period. The Headquarter of the officer would be at Chandigarh. During his suspension he would report daily to the personal staff of legal remembrance or Superintendent (Establishment) and would not leave the Headquarter without obtaining prior permission.
