Fresher’s party of Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology of Guru Kashi University was organised with full zeal and enthusiasm in the campus.

The function started with the lamp lighting by Satish Goswami, Registrar, Dr. BS Dhaliwal, Principal & other officers. Dr. Dhaliwal welcomed the freshers & impended upon them to put their heart & soul in the studies so that they came out with flying colours. When the pass out as graduates.

Dr. N.S Malhi, Vice Chancellor, Guru Kashi University stated that students should not become merely book worms. As they have chosen the Engineering stream, their future can be bright only if they take part in extra-curricular activities also because personality development includes all such activities and such students become capable enough to compete at national & international level.

The students presented remarkable cultural items which won applause from the audience Sunil of Civil Engineering and Gurpreet Kaur of Computer Science Engineering were declared fresher and Miss fresher, respectively.
